Double-wall stainless steel
Most models are stainless steel, the material that holds temperature best. Plastic and ceramic options are also available.
Leak-proof lids for carrying
Many models have a leak-proof lid, whether screw-on, flip-top or with a straw. You can drop them in a rucksack or carry them in the car without spills.
Laser engraving that won't wear off
Laser engraving and 360° laser engraving mark the steel without ink, so the logo stands up to washing and daily use. For full-colour logos there is UV digital printing and 360° printing.
Thermal mugs for the office, events and teams
A thermal mug gets used every day: at the desk, on the commute or in the meeting room. That is why it works well in welcome kits for new starters and as a gift for employees who spend long hours away from the office.
At exhibitions and corporate events it is a giveaway people take home and keep using. Some models are designed for coffee, others for cold drinks, and most work for both hot and cold, so you can choose by season or type of event.
Material and marking for thermal mugs
Stainless steel is the most common material and many models use recycled material, with certifications such as RCS or amfori BSCI. If you want something lighter or in brighter colours, the plastic versions are an alternative; brands include Stanley 1913®, MiiR, Mepal, Vinga and Ocean Bottle.
On steel, laser engraving gives a discreet, permanent finish. Circular screen printing and pad printing suit logos in one or a few inks, and UV or 360° digital printing reproduces gradients and full-colour logos wrapped around the mug.
How to choose a personalised thermal mug
- Material
- Stainless steel holds temperature best and takes laser engraving; plastic is lighter and ceramic suits the desk. If sustainability matters to you, filter by recycled material.
- Lid type
- Screw-on and leak-proof lids are the safest for carrying in a bag. A straw works better with cold drinks and a flip-top lets you drink one-handed.
- What you will drink
- Check whether the model is for hot drinks, cold drinks or both. Most of the range works for hot and cold.
- Marking technique
- Laser engraving for a sober, lasting logo on metal; circular screen printing or pad printing for a few colours; UV or 360° digital printing for full-colour logos or designs that wrap around the mug.
